Charles Peterson II, MD
Dr. Charles Peterson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in sports medicine and joint reconstruction, including complex problems of the knee, hip and shoulder. Dr. Peterson has practiced in Seattle for over 13 years.
He has expansive expertise in orthopedics including:
- Trauma and fracture care
- Sports medicine and arthroscopy
- Joint replacement
- Shoulder surgery
- Elbow surgery
- Hip surgery
- Knee surgery
Dr. Peterson received his medical training at the University of Washington, and his orthopedic surgical training at the Mayo Clinic and Hospital for Special Surgery. After developing his experience in sports medicine as an assistant team physician for the New York Mets, New York Giants, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and St. John’s University, he now practices at Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle (OSS), a full-service orthopedic practice located in the Ballard and Wallingford neighborhoods of north Seattle. He attends inpatients at Swedish Medical Center and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute.
